The Perinatal Conversation Hour (PCH) is a closed group for graduates of the PIMH Intensive training. Everyone who has completed the training is welcome.
The PCH is a reflective, exploratory space to continue sharpening and deepening therapeutic skills covered in the PIMH Intensive. In particular, holding in mind and applying the dual frames of the perinatal clinician and holding all members of the family in mind while addressing the many clinical issues salient to the perinatal period.
A regular, monthly Zoom hour dedicated to discussion of clinical material provides opportunity for a continued meeting of minds and sharing of ideas.
The PCH serves as an online community of practice for dedicated perinatal and infant mental health clinicians, whether new or established in the field.
Facilitated by Dr Bronwyn Leigh, the PCH provides an informal space to share our successes and our difficulties in supporting perinatal families.
The Perinatal Conversation Hour aims to embody the central qualities and parallel processes of effective parent-child and therapist-client relationships: those of holding, containing, listening, observing, wondering, attunement, resonance, reflexivity, meaning-making and compassion.
To register, please contact us and indicate when and where you engaged in the training, including whether in-person or online and which month and year.
The Perinatal Conversation Hour is open to graduates of the PIMH Intensive training with Dr Bronwyn Leigh at any time from 2012-2022.
