Dr Bronwyn Leigh is a Clinical Psychologist dedicated to perinatal and infant mental health. She is the Founding Director of the Centre for Perinatal Psychology, a national network of 100+ perinatal and infant psychologists. An experienced educator, Bronwyn has developed and facilitated unique training courses in the field, and has established the Perinatal Training Centre as a hub for quality professional development. With a psychotherapeutic practice spanning over 20-years, Bronwyn is deeply interested in the psychological aspects of becoming a parent, the emotional development of infants, and parent-infant relationships. She embraces relational and developmental frames of practice infused with trauma-responsive, neurodiverse-affirming, and strengths-led orientations.
Bronwyn conceived of the Speaking for the Baby campaign to satisfy a desire to create a novel approach to infant mental health advocacy. She found infant mental health principles deeply helpful in her clinical work with parents and wished for a way to share the rich ideas in an easily digestible way for all parents.
Join Bronwyn to celebrate 10-years of the Speaking for the Baby campaign as she hosts this innovative online Conference experience, honouring infant individuality and centring our attention on infant subjective and intersubjective experience.
