Sarah Edwards

Sarah Edwards is a late comer to the psychology profession, having had a previous career in medical science. Excelling at pattern recognition skills yet motivated by a deep longing to work with people, psychology is now a perfect fit.

Sarah is an educational and developmental psychologist who works in her solo private practice, Keeping Mum Psychology. In her clinical work, Sarah regularly draws on the rich learnings of wonderful mentors in the areas of developmental psychology, systems work, attachment-informed interventions and infant mental health. Funnily enough, science still makes a way into her work with her love of data, strong interest in hormones and the mind and the impact of physical health on mental health. Together with Sarah’s inherent qualities and lived experience, they all serve to be a skills and passions to work with perinatal neurodivergent populations.

A keen teacher, even ‘back in the day’ in the laboratory, Sarah also lectures and supervises in the master’s programs at Queensland University of Technology. Sarah has also had a more recent foray into conference presentations (like this one!) and loves connecting with folks with similar passions and clinical work. Sarah loves any chance to yap.

Sarah has been a Member of the Advisory Committee in the development of this Conference.
